7 Time IBL All-Star Justin Marra returns for 2024
TORONTO - The Toronto Maple Leafs Baseball Club (@iblmapleleafs) announced today the signing of 7 Time IBL All-Star Catcher Justin Marra (Mississauga, On)
The Leafs are proud to announce the return of all the Marra brothers. The Toronto Maple Leaf first family of baseball. Today, we focus on Justin, and what he has accomplished in his now 8th season with the Leafs.
In 39 Games last season, Justin hit .275 (44-160) with 6 2B’s, 10 HR’s and 28 RBI’s and 5 SB’s. In his IBL career, Justin has a career average of .310 (294-947) with 48 2B’s, 73 HR’s and 243 RBI’s. He is 14th All-Time in Homeruns in the IBL with his next homerun tying him with former Leaf legend Bill Byckowski. He is also a great defensive catcher, calls a great game, and is a leader in the clubhouse.
Justin joined the Leafs after being drafted in the 15th round by the Chicago Cubs and spent 4 years in the minors, hitting 20 career homeruns in 164 games.
