Adam Marra returns for 2023!

TORONTO - The Toronto Maple Leafs Baseball Club (@iblmapleleafs) announced today the signing veteran left handed pitcher Adam Marra (Toronto, On)

This season will see the return of all the Marra brothers. The Toronto Maple Leaf first family of baseball. We will focus today on Adam,  and what he has accomplished in his now 8th season with the Leafs.

Last season Adam reached career highs in appearances with 20 and innings with 29.2. He had a record of 1-1 and picked up a save while adding 16 strikeouts.

After playing OBJ baseball Adam continued playing ball at Mount Mercy University and graduated in 2018. In his IBL career he has 78 appearances, 129.1 IP, a record of 5-5 with 2 saves and 81 strikeouts.

"A lefthanded reliever who understands his role and knows exactly who he is as a pitcher is very valuable to any pitching staff. He complements our other relievers, gives us a different look and will take the ball whenever given the opportunity."GM Jeff Lounsbury

The Toronto Maple Leafs are a member of Canada’s best league, the Intercounty Baseball League. The over 100-year-old summer league is one of the oldest baseball leagues in the world, with the league established in 1919, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind.
