Maple Leafs to Commemorate 90th Anniversary of Christie Pits Riot

The Toronto Maple Leafs Baseball Club invites everyone to Dominico Field at Christie Pits on June 4th, when the Toronto Maple Leafs host the Hamilton Cardinals.

We will be commemorating the 90th anniversary of the Christie Pits Riot with a pregame ceremony that starts at 1:30pm. The ceremonies include students singing the Canadian national anthem, a dance performance from members from the Etobicoke School of the Arts, and much more. First pitch will follow at 2:00pm. The game will be in collaboration with the TDSB's Jewish Heritage Committee and Italian Heritage Committee.

In the case of a rainout, we will be rescheduling the event for Sunday June 11, against the Guelph Royals.
