Marek Deska returns for 2024!

TORONTO - The Toronto Maple Leafs Baseball Club (@iblmapleleafs) announced today the signing Veteran Pitcher Marek Deska (Cambridge, On)

Deska started his IBL career in 2006. He spent time pitching in the Dutch Major League, the Polish National Team and lead the U of Toronto Varsity Blues to numerous OUA Championships. Deska is 8^th all time in the IBL in appearances with 145, 12^th all-time in innings pitched with 648.1 and has a record of 47-33. His 47 win’s is tied for 13^th all-time and he sits at 599 strikeouts which is 9^th .  Last season, Deska was again very good with a 2-2 record in 10 games with 23 strikeouts in 20.2 innings with an ERA of 4.35
