TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS RHP ENMANUEL DE LA ROSA

TORONTO - The Toronto Maple Leafs Baseball Club (@mapleleafsbaseball) have signed right-handed pitcher Enmanuel De La Rosa for the 2027 season.
De La Rosa, a native of Montecristi, Dominican Republic, joins the Maple Leafs after spending each of the last two years within the Los Angeles Dodgers organization. While there, the 23-year-old appeared in a combined 24 games - 22 of which were in relief - with the Dodgers’ Dominican Summer League teams.
This past season, the hard-throwing righty posted a 6-1 record with a 3.67 ERA over 20 appearances, striking out 39 in 41.2 innings while notching a pair of saves. He led his DSL Dodgers Bautista squad in wins, appearances, innings and strikeouts.
De La Rosa marks Toronto’s first signing this offseason and first import spot. He’ll look to make an immediate impact in Toronto’s revamped pitching staff.
