TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS SIGN INFIELDER VASILI KALOUDIS

TORONTO - The Toronto Maple Leafs Baseball Club (@mapleleafsbaseball) have signed Infielder Vasili Kaloudis for the upcoming 2026 season.

Kaloudis, who is the club’s first import signing, arrives to Toronto after spending 2025 in the United Shore Professional Baseball League (USPBL) with the Birmingham Bloomfield Beavers. With experience at multiple infield positions, he provides extreme positional flexibility all over the diamond.

After spending three years (2021-2023) with Appalachian State (NCAA), Kaloudis transferred to Milligan University (NAIA) in 2024. With the Buffaloes, he slashed .311/.421/.520 across 57 games with 8 HR, 44 RBI, and 29 walks. In 2019 and 2021, Kaloudis also spent time with two separate summer teams - the Carolina Venom and Charlotte Mustangs, respectively - in the Southern Collegiate Baseball League (SCBL). As a high school senior with Ardrey Kell, he hit .329 with a .507 OBP while notching 22 RBI.

Kaloudis is Toronto’s first import signing this offseason, of which eight of the 28-player roster signees can be.
