Toronto re-signs 3rd Baseman Johnathan Solazzo

TORONTO - The Toronto Maple Leafs Baseball Club (@iblmapleleafs) announced today the signing of 3rd Baseman Jonathan Solazzo ( Mississauga, On)

The 6'3" , 230 lb Solazzo is entering his 13th season in the IBL. He spent 1 year in Mississauga, 4 in Hamilton before joining the Leafs. Last season was one of his best hitting .333 (52-156) in 38 games with 11 2B's, 9 HR's and 47 RBI's. In his IBL career Solazzo has hit .294 (364-1240) with 63 2B's, 1 #B, 62 HR, 290 RBI's and 23 SB's. He is 2 homeruns shy of former IBL great Rick Johnston and 11 RBI's behind former Leaf and IBL great Raul Borjas.
