Toronto Re-Signs RHP Sam Greene
TORONTO, Ontario – The Toronto Maple Leafs Baseball Club (@MapleLeafsBaseball) announced today signing of right handed pitcher Sam Greene (Toronto, On)
Greene is entering his 3rd season with Toronto with a career 4-5 record in 27 games, 81.2 IP with 85 strikeouts. Last season, he made 11 starts with 60 strikeouts in 57.2 IP and picked up 3 wins during the season and another win during the post season.
Greene, who is originally from Philadelphia, is a dual citizen who came to Toronto to work in the Toronto Blue Jays analytical department after graduating from McGill University in 2020.

Greene will again be counted on to help to provide big innings and pitching coach responsibilities. “I’m thrilled to be back for another season with this organization and looking forward to competing for a championship.” Said Greene
Opening day is set for May 12 at 2:00pm at Christie Pits.
