Veteran Deska Returns for Another Run!

TORONTO - The Toronto Maple Leafs Baseball Club (@iblmapleleafs) announced today the signing Veteran Pitcher Marek Deska (Cambridge, On)

Deska started his IBL career in 2006. He spent time pitching in the Dutch Major League, the Polish National Team and lead the U of Toronto Varsity Blues to numerous OUA Championships. Deska is 11th all time in Appearances with 135, 12th All-Time in Innings pitched with 627.2 and has a record of 45-31. He also sits 9th All-Time with 576 strikeouts. Last season, Deska was again very good with a 2-0 record in 10 games with 32 strikeouts in 29.2 Innings, with an ERA of 3.64

He understands pitching, he understands the game, and he still loves to compete and he is doing it still at a very high level.
